Maple sugar is such an aromatic sweetener! It’s my favorite sugar to use in any and all cakes. I hope you can find it where you are Jenny. If you can’t, I can tell you it’s pretty easy to order it online!

I had never heard of financiers but I loved the almond flour and maple sugar flavors in these little cakes. Maple-flavored anything is always my favorite so these disappeared very quickly haha.
